BALI - The Island Glam. The Blue Gradient. The Peace.

Good Day, Mavens!

Before we start, let me ask you all a question: do you have that butterflies in your stomach waiting for your next trip to start?; because i have it! Although you have been to the places you've been countless of time, the joy of traveling is always there - from the adventure you will undergo to the new people you will meet. A week ago, i went to Bali again for a friend's glorious and beautiful wedding. That was the main purpose but hey now, we might as well go dancing, no?

This time, i did not go with theme. I just simply...go. Of course i planned it with a thorough itinerary but what i'm saying is that i don't search for specific things but just being relaxed and entertained; those were exactly what i experienced. From Amandari, to St. Regis, to a delicious spanish and gastronomy restaurants. Apart from the placed that i went, i'd like to share on how did i maintain a glam during an out and about in Bali. In my experience, it was a little hard to put a pinch of glam while you're an in island.

TO-GO PLACES

I feel like i transformed to Dora the explorer a little bit because i went to places that were far apart (1-2 hours apart each place). Then i remember that the first place that i visited was a good Spanish restaurant in Canggu name Pescado; this is a very Dora of me and i loved it! Pescado's service was good and food was great! Another places to be aware of is this gastronomy restaurant name Bikini in Seminyak. I planned to go last year yet i didnt have enough time so this year, i went. Thoughts? so. good. The food comes in small plates but each bite was a J O Y.

Apart from that, one thing that i want to highlight is that, i also went to places that for me, was so breathtaking and i'd recommend people to experience it with their own eyes and soul. I liked being on YouTube and see destination places and let me tell you this, AMAN group, has ALWAYS and WILL ALWAYS be in my list; this time, i went there. This was my first AMAN group experience and i visited AMANDARI, their property located in Ubud. Serene, Secluded, and just pure pure peace. Food was great and service...do you even need to know this? i mean, c'mon now?

Last year, i raved SO MUCH about St. Regis Bali and guess what, i went again this year. Their service, just got better, and better, and better. You folks, seriously, when i told you last year that my experience at the St. Regis Bali was my best hospitality experience ever (and i traveled a lot), this time, i didn't change my mind. It still is the ebst hospitality experience ever and their food, a complete speechless. The staff somehow remembers me and treated me like a king. I sound like i am being sponsored, but i'm not. I woke up at 6:30 AM just to go to St. regis, and finance my own self. This is as honest as it gets!

St. Regis Bali

Bali is a beach. You do not visit Bali if you do not visit its beaches. This time i went to 2 beach clubs and i loved each one of it. I went to Sundays beach club and Ulu cliff house. Both located in the very south of Bali called Uluwatu, the region where they have the best and bluest beaches. I had a very good experience in both places and if you haven't visited them yet, you are missing out!

TO-GO GLAM

Island glam can be tricky. But i wanna start with this; the best glam you can every wear in a beach is an SPF. YES, SPF. Glam starts from health and since you're gonna most likely expose your skin to sun, SPF or sunblock is the best glam first and foremost. Now let's get down to business. In my island glam, i hate just dressing up with a swim trunk and shit then flip flops. That's so boring! Try to rocket and adjust my glam with the places that i went.
