Good Day, Mavens!
Less is more is probably one of the most valid sayings that i hold on to. This doesn't mean that you don't try at all because effortless takes effort! It's a combination of taste, confidence, and knowledge! I believe in less is more because instead of just focusing only on one aspect, you are allowing other aspects of your life to also shine through; let's take an example when you are dressing yourself. When you apply less is more to your look, you will allow people to see you beyond your clothes - people will search for other aspects in or on you; your personality, your beautiful skin, and etc.
If you have not noticed yet, my style tends to use calm and delicate colors. Most of them are earthy and ethereal minimalistic. I love color blocking and mixing vibrant colors but if i'm asked what my style preference is, i would do just that. I believe in accessorizing and statement pieces to balance out my minimalistic look - this is less is more. Really, even in my everyday wear, white shirt and jeans are my favorite pair of style. Well, people wear that a lot! but what makes it difference, is someone behind that white shirt and jeans.
On Today's post, i want to show one look that might inspire you on how to look proper, but it's somewhat effortless. I'm applying a "less is more" in this look - Why so? my look uses only one color tone, which is white. I focus on accessorizing my look by using statement piece of my kaftan and my vibrant pouch. By this, i don't want people to focus only on one thing, i want my pouch to give pizzaz and i want my kaftan to give a punch - but then, you can still call this look as minimalistic. I went to the museum and i couldn't be happier! Looked at some modern arts but i'm bringing some traditional embroideries along
