In for a Treat!

Good day, Mavens!

Welcome, welcome! Some of you might know me from theyogaeffect, which is a blog I created in 2012. During my time in running the blog, I have hinted a few messages online (or maybe verbally) about my desire to expand my blog into a legit website; but things were such a string, lots of ups and downs and I was overwhelmed by what life threw me. It’s a delay after delay.

I stumbled upon my own blog post that says “start before you are ready” – this sounds so narcissistic but, by reading that, I was inspired to really start what I have been wanting for almost 6 years now. What I have been doing in the past 6 years was really to have that zen or calm moment where I can just think plan and forecast. But in fact, that’s not what I need. Because what I have learned from my experience, things will always overwhelm you and start something before you are ready seem to be the only risk that I need to take.

In this website you will see more aesthetics, honest reviews (ranging from fashion, food, places, and etc.), lessons learned, and just simply some tips to excel in life.

If you notice, I have changed the name of my blog! youthemaven represents my deepest intention to see whoever reads my posts, will learn something new that can help them, even just a tiny positive word in their head, to become the person they have dreamed of – doing it with style and such class, bringing good to the table.

I am happy. Very happy. How lucky I am to be able to create something that has been in my mind for quite a while. I will post every Friday (since it’s my favorite day of the week) and for more aesthetics, you can always find me on our instagram @youthemaven. Let the fun begin!
