Save Your Life: 7 Life Hacks that Will Improve Your Being and Quality of Life!

Good Day, Mavens!


There are two legit reasons of why i started writing in the first place; one is because i love to write and I find peace in doing so, second is because i love to share. From the very first time I start writing, apart from writing about the indulging side of life, I always knew that I want to write about the important issues - that is everything related to life. Life is such a general term and even when you specify life, it's still isn't niche. But one thing that I think is the most important thing when you walk alongside life, is yourself! And for me, self-development is an issue that I continuously want to talk about.

If you notice, I always mention and end my post with a message – p.s. life is not elusive, you just need to know the how tos. All the post in my blog, hopefully, carries that message and purpose. Today’s post is special because probably this is the most straightforward one that really is about the message I have always mentioned on my post. What are the how tos? How to ease up your life and transform it from dull to gold? I’m here to share and I want to share 7 actions that I have used for myself and hopefully, they will improve yours!

These actions help me to see life from a positive side and eliminate those that are negative.

These actions are simple but they are easier said than done. Practice is inevitable but you gotta do everything in your power to ensure you live the best life, right?



1. There is nothing like mastering your self-control

If you ask me what the biggest lesson I have learned in 2018 is probably this. Self-control is that vital because it can prevent you in doing something stupid by realizing it in advance. If I can recommend, practice the balance of using both of your heart and brain. Some people find this really hard but practice is the only way for you to reach this state. Your heart wants to shop, but then again you see that you don’t need more clothes, so you decide to ditch that; that is when your brain kicks in. Self-control does not merely needed while doing stuff that needs money, you need it daily; whether you should react to some bullcrap? Whether you should eat junkfood again knowing the fact that its bad? And etc. Trust me, if you have mastered this, you can drive yourself to the better.


2. Sometimes, being selfish is not a crime!

It is important to care and think of others, but always remember that you are worth the consideration too. I have learned that being selfish in special cases can actually save you, and your time. For example, instead of waiting for people who always late in everything, you choose to go by yourself. Why do I mention this? I feel like whenever I need to pull out the selfish side of me, I learn something that I dislike, and therefore, I step up my game. Referring to my example, I knew that I hate waiting and I hate people who are late, and to step up my game, I always come early and set my standard on until which time should I wait for you? – of course this is a niche example. Be mindful to others always, but when people treat you for granted, sometimes you need to step up your game and focus on you, not them.


3. Never, ever, lie to yourself

One of my favorite songs ever is the song “trust nobody” by cashmere cat and selena Gomez. However, I don’t believe the fact that you should not trust nobody. I believe that putting a trust in the right people is a must otherwise you will always be close minded. But the most important thing is, trust yourself and never ever lie to yourself. What does that mean though? Be honest with yourself, if you are sad, admit it – yes, I’m sad. Follow that sentence with positive thoughts like, “yes I’m sad but I’m gonna improve myself by doing ABCDE”. Another example,

don’t say yes to something that definitely you don’t want to do.

This excruciates your mood and feeling and it’s very uncomfortable. Practice it by starting to know which area you want to touch and which are don’t. Remember, be honest with yourself so you won’t have to deal with wrong decisions and end up swallowing your ego.


4. People are mad to you? Pay a close look to what they say about you!

I know, this is unusual. But here is the thing: when people are angry and mad at you, even your closest circles, they will call you with words that is the most honest thing and what they have been thinking all this time. Do I think what they say is important? Depends – if this improves me as a person, then yes. But if this only acts as something that bring me down, then no. But does this tell about the person you are dealing with? Yes. Why? Because it is unmasked and no filter. When people are mad and calling out names, they don’t filter what they say to you, they speak what’s on their mind. Pay attention only to save yourself from the people who only weight you down. If there are any, cut. them. off. Oh, and pray for them too!


5. Find your bubble and unicorn land

Taking care of yourself should always come first. Whether you are doing something you love, or something that just good to do. Whats a bubble and unicorn land though? – in life, you always need something to look forward to…everyday. THIS IS IMPORTANT.

One of the reasons of why people go into depression is because they don’t have something to look forward to everyday.

You all, this is NOT hard and this does not have to be something that is big and spectacular. Bubble and unicorn land can simply be your bed + Netflix. That’s all. You look forward everyday to just be in your bed and do things you love, simply by watching YouTube. Another example, bubble and unicorn land can simply be the dinner you like and just to see some friends. Find the things that you REALLY like. This helps every time.


6. Bring your A game…all the time (if possible)

Whether it’s a little presentation, or it’s the biggest presentation of your life. Bring your A game to the table as much as you can. Why is this important? This will latch on to your brand.

Your brand as a person will always be someone who show up the best, and present the best.

Not only you will respect yourself and your surroundings, but the feedback that will be given byu your surrounding will also be positive too! If you notice, I mentioned the word “if possible”. I am not crazy, I know we are still humans. Sometimes we are just too lazy to show up and stuff – all I can say, pick your battle right. See first, will I regret this if I only fight halfway? Or if I only show my 50%? As I mentioned in my previous post before, remember, always ask yourself questions and make it as pros and cons.


7. Celebrate and reward Y O U !

You have done so much. Until this second, look at you. Your mistakes, your triumph, your decisions, have made you this far and made you who you are. Would you rather be somewhere else? Or be someone else? – remember to always make your body as your temple. Take care of it, and celebrate you, as a person. Simply for little things. Celebrate does not have to always be big, as simple as treating yourself a very good ice cream or buy the things you have been wanting. This does not have to be every day because come on, that will cost us a lot. What? You tend to lose control? Then read the first point in this list, honey :)
