Why Khaki is The New Classic

Good Day, Mavens!

Getting ready is always the most exciting process of the day – the standing in front of the closet, the pile of clothes in your bed, and the fact that you will eventually end up with your first choice of outfit. When it is down to color, I am very open minded. I mix match my everyday look with different colors; from off white, to olive green, to sunset orange. I usually choose the kind of colors I want to wear depend on my mood and the occasion. I sometimes go with a darker color in the evening and lighter in daylights.

However, one color that is so versatile and I will definitely consider as classic now, is the color Khaki. The color Khaki is so delicate that it matches with almost every color. I know that there is nothing like a black and white but we step up to the next level a little bit. Khaki color can be worn either in the evening and daylights; this is because of its soft and elegant nature. From all the nude shades, khaki is definitely my favorite one. This is perfect because if you want to emphasize your look with vibrant colors, you can still match it with khaki.

Not only for tops, but khaki can also be worn as trousers. Chino pants come in khaki colors and it is one of the best inventions ever. Even with jeans, khaki looks spectacular – you can wear them from noon until dark. I want to share what Khaki color looks like during my trip to a historical museum in Jakarta. I match my Khaki colored top with a cotton oversized pants, white slip ons, and a little vibrant pouch just to make a pop of color to the look. This is an important note to have! When you go with Khaki, you need to make sure that your accessories have vibrant colors to make it more fashion. All in all, the delicate in the color of khaki somehow defines the new ethereal and elegance.
